It's Official - San Jose Municipal Rose Garden is "America's Best"
It's Official - The All-America Rose Selections first nationwide contest to select the best public rose garden in the USA is completed.
After three months of voting, a panel of experts evaluated the top 10 gardens and selected a winner based on beauty, creativity and the garden's overall contribution to its community - and we are proud to be selected #1 in the nation!

Sanitary Sewer Construction Project in
Rose Garden Area
The University Avenue Sanitary Sewer Replacement project will
replace and rehabilitate over 6,500 feet of existing sewer pipes to
improve flows and reduce sewer blockages. Streets impacted include
University Avenue, University Way, McDaniel Avenue, and Garden
Drive. Construction is scheduled to start in mid July 2010 and
complete by November 2010.

Rock'n'Roll San Jose 1/2 Marathon
Enter the San Jose Rock 'N Roll Half Marathon. This is a fun way to visit our neighborhood and get a little

Easter Egg Hunt
The RGNPA Easter Egg Hunt was a huge success. More than 300 kids
participated, plus many more people in attendance.
Thanks again for all who volunteered to make this event successful. A special thanks to Ceris

Airport Noise to Increase?
San Jose City Council is discussing proposals to make SJ Airport more competitive.
Proposals include changing the curfew to allow more late-night
flights and easing the limits on noise levels, which will affect the Rose
Garden Neighborhood. If you are interested, please see the discussion

City of San Jose Budget Prioritization Survey
The City of San Jose has contracted with a public opinion survey company to poll residents on the city’s budget in a project known as “The City of San Jose Budget Prioritization Survey.” The control group of the survey is 900 residents representing the entire City. They will be contacted by phone and interviewed.
